“Nuance was specifically recognized for its cloud-based Nuance Gatekeeper solution, which uses voice biometrics to enable authentication and fraud prevention across multiple channels.”

Nuance Communications was presented with the award for Most Innovative Biometrics at the 8th annual InfoSec Awards. The awards were established by Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), and are selected by a panel of certified security industry professionals.
Nuance was specifically recognized for its cloud-based Nuance Gatekeeper solution, which uses voice biometrics to enable authentication and fraud prevention across multiple channels. Gatekeeper was released in October, and blends Nuance’s ConversationPrint text authenticator with its Lightning voice recognition engine and behavioral biometrics.
“With tens of billions of records stolen and potentially trillions of dollars in damages, we are proud to recognize Nuance Communications as an award-winning innovator that offers a new approach to defeat criminals,” said CDM Editor-in-Chief Pierlugi Paganini.
The 2020 InfoSec awards were handed out during this week’s RSA Conference in San Francisco. Onfido also picked up an award for Best Product for Next Gen Fraud Prevention.
The news continues Nuance’s solid start in fiscal 2020. The company delivered higher-than-expected revenues in the first quarter of the year, and it recently added an Ambient Clinical Intelligence solution to its Dragon Medical portfolio.
Nuance has also been identified as one of the most supportive workplaces in America. The Human Rights Campaign listed the company as one of Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality for the second year in a row.
