Aratek Reveals Product Lineup for ISC West

March 4, 2022

Aratek will be bringing a full lineup of biometric solutions to this month’s ISC West conference in Las Vegas. The event is set to run March 23-25 at the Venetian Expo, where Aratek’s wares will be on display at Booth #6401.

Aratek Reveals Product Lineup for ISC West

“We’re excited to chat with everyone interested in security and digital identity,” said Aratek International Business VP Samuel Wu. “If you’re in the Las Vegas area, feel free to visit the Aratek booth at ISC West and we’d be glad to show you how our biometric solutions can help you design security systems that really work.”

Those who make the trip will be able to view a number of different biometric products, including Aratek’s BA8300 and BA8200-T terminals. Both terminals are designed for access control, with the BA8300 offering temperature detection and fingerprint and facial recognition in addition to RFID and barcode scanning capabilities. Faces can be registered to the platform using the TruFace Manager App, which supports everything from enrollment through to authentication when someone tries to gain access to a building. TruFace also offers liveness detection to guard against various forms of spoofing.

The BA8200-T, meanwhile, delivers full body temperature scanning and facial recognition, again realized with the TruFace Manager. The platform makes it easy to manage permissions, and can help bar entry to anyone on a watchlist.

The other notable feature of the Aratek lineup is the Marshall 8 biometric terminal. The multimodal terminal comes with a built-in FAP30 fingerprint scanner and can be used for facial recognition, and is finally getting a proper showcase in the US after making its debut in Europe at Trustech 2021.

Aratek will also be displaying a full line of optical fingerprint sensors, all of which are FBI-certified at levels ranging from FAP 20 all the way up to FAP 60. The highlights include the two-finger A800 scanner and the A900. The former has a FAP 45 rating, while the latter is a ten-print FAP 60 scanner that was launched last June.
