It’s no surprise FIDO had a presence at this week’s Money 20/20 Europe FinTech conference, with the recent impact of GDPR introducing a strong demand for the type of privacy by design FIDO advocates.
FindBiometrics president Peter O’Neill had a chance to chat with FIDO Alliance Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Shikiar direct from the conference floor at Money 20/20, where Shikiar reflected on the recent launch of FIDO2, the company’s goal to bring about ubiquitous coverage of FIDO authentication, how developers can leverage WebAuthn API, the multiple levels of FIDO authentication, and how strong authentication usability and security intersect in the world of payments and beyond.
