IDEMIA has set a date for the publication of its financial results for the first half of 2019: The update will arrive on Tuesday, July 30th. The publication will arrive that day alongside a presentation on the results hosted by IDEMIA CEO Yann Delabrière and CFO Laurent Lemaire, slated to start at 9:30am ET.
The results will cover what has been an eventful six months for IDEMIA. The company announced a significant change in its corporate structure in February, in which its Connected Objects, Financial Institutions, and Mobile Operators divisions were merged together into a new ‘Secure Enterprise Transactions’ division. In more recent corporate news, IDEMIA announced in June that it had appointed a new Head of Business Development for North America, though that development may have technically taken place after the end of fiscal H1.
On the business side of things, IDEMIA has been busy on multiple fronts. The company kicked off 2019 with a new partnership with Onfido that would focus on selfie authentication solutions, and it further bolstered its technological expertise in this area through a partnership with prominent suppliers of 3D facial recognition technology. And in a related effort, IDEMIA has also been focused on the development of a pioneering new mobile ID solution.
Meanwhile, IDEMIA has continued to be a prominent supplier of identity and security solutions in the government market, with the company’s facial recognition technology finding new border control deployments.
All of this should make for an interesting H1 report, especially since IDEMIA has become one of the biggest companies in its field after it was formed through the merger of Oberthur Technologies and Safran Identity & Security in 2017.
