FacePhi Eyes Global Expansion with Latest Addition to Advisory Board

FacePhi has added Juan Antonio Gómez Bule to its Advisory Board. The company is hoping that his expertise will advance FacePhi’s ongoing international expansion efforts.

Gómez Bule is currently the Vice President and Head of Public Affairs for the Ecix Group, a law firm with offices in Singapore and Madrid that specializes in Security and Compliance. His career includes prior stops at Ascom, where he served as Vice President, and at Prosegur Technology, where he was the General Director.

He also worked in an advisory capacity with several other institutions before joining the FacePhi Board. Gómez Bule has consulted for a number of different cybersecurity and technology companies, and was previously a member of the Elcano Royal Institute and of the Committee of Independent Experts of the National Cybersecurity Strategy in 2017 and 2019. He is the Vice President of the Walhalla board and senior member of the Headspring board, the former of which is a Spanish cloud services provider and the latter of which is a Financial Times and IE Business School joint venture that develops leadership and education programs.

The news comes as FacePhi’s mobile onboarding technology continues to gain traction in Asia and Latin America. The company’s revenues were up 143 percent in the first half of 2020.
