Invixium has spent its first half-decade of operation focused on the Middle East and Africa market, but the company is making a North American debut of sorts (though it is based in Toronto) at this year’s ISC West event in Las Vegas. It’s occasioned by the company’s most recent biometric terminal, the IXM Titan, which supports not only biometric recognition based on fingerprint and finger vein scanning, but also internal enterprise communications and surveillance.
It also looks great, which may prove to be one of the features that makes it stand out above the competition. Speaking with Invixium CEO Shiraz Kapadia on the ISC West show floor, FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill couldn’t resist paying the device a compliment on this aspect of the IXM Titan, prompting Kapadia to expound on the importance of aesthetic design. The two also discussed the device’s more substantial features of course, as well as Invixium’s “fantastic” 6th year in business, and where the industry is growing, with Kapadia excited about the interconnectivity that is emerging along with the Internet of Things.
