Crossmatch‘s biometric identity management technology has been adopted by Computer-Rx, an Oklahoma-based provider of pharmacy software.
The new client is taking advantage of Crossmatch’s DigitalPersona U.are.U software to enable biometric authentication for its customers. The deployment means that end users can log into their accounts via fingerprint scan, which is replacing the old username and password authentication system.
In a statement announcing the arrangement, Computer-Rx Software Development VP Billy Miller said that Crossmatch’s solution stood out among other candidates for a security system upgrade, and that “the reception from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive.”
While Crossmatch has lately been focused on upgrading its newer DigitalPersona Composite Authentication platform, the new U.are.U deployment demonstrates enduring interest in its SDK solution.
