New York City’s real estate proprietors will soon get a first-hand look at some sophisticated biometric security solutions. Security specialist Idesco has announced that it will showcase multiple offerings at The Cooperator Expo New York on April 13th.
Among the offerings to be shown off will be FST Biometrics‘ In Motion Identification System. The technology uses a combination of facial recognition and behavioral biometrics to offer a seamless access control experience. Idesco first licensed the platform in early 2015, and FST has since upgraded the IMID system with improved administrative functions. Idesco will also showcase ID card printers from HID Global, another company with some experience in biometric solutions, particularly in the area of access control.
Commenting in a statement, Idesco President Andrew Schonzeit expressed excitement at the opportunity to highlight these innovative offerings. “As a leading provider of integrated security solutions,” he said, “it is important for us to educate the NY real estate market on the latest security technologies and help keep building owners and managers keep their tenants, employees and visitors safe at all times.”
And given the high profile of New York real estate, this opportunity could prove beneficial to both potential new clients and the biometrics industry in general.
