BluStor has found a valuable partner to help launch its new secure identity platform. The company’s CyberGate Secure Mobile Briefcase (SMB) will be available through Amazon LaunchPad, a new platform aimed at helping startups to market and distribute their offerings.
The CyberGate SMB is basically a card-sized hub for sensitive user identity data. It features USB, Bluetooth, and NFC compatibility and encrypts the user data that it stores; it can also perform biometric matching when paired with devices capable of iris, fingerprint, and facial scanning. The incorporation of all these capabilities into a single solution is impressive, and Amazon LaunchPad could prove vital in helping the product reach its target audiences in healthcare, enterprise, government, and financial services markets.
Commenting in a statement, BluStor CEO Finis Conner said his team is “extremely honored” that the CyberGate SMB was selected for the LaunchPad program, which he said “features some of the world’s most innovative products.” Conner added, “The launch of the CyberGate platform will be the pivot point where people can finally take back control of their identity.”
