CLEAR Biometric Screening Comes to Cleveland

March 14, 2019

“At Ohio’s busiest airport, CLEAR’s expedited screening lanes have been deployed in the Central and South Checkpoints.”

CLEAR Biometric Screening Comes to Cleveland

CLEAR‘s biometric expedited screening program has come to the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE).

The news comes after CLEAR arrived at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in December, with CLE bringing its airport network to 28 locations nationwide. At Ohio’s busiest airport, CLEAR’s expedited screening lanes have been deployed in the Central and South Checkpoints.

In a statement announcing CLEAR’s expansion to Cleveland, CLE Airport Airport Director Robert Kennedy emphasized the program’s convenience for travelers. “We are thrilled to have a new, convenient way for our guests to travel with ease at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport,” he said. “Adding CLEAR gives our guests more options for getting through security quickly.”

In addition to CLEAR’s expansion across US airports, the program has also found a growing number of other applications, most notably with deployments at major sports stadiums. Including its non-airport deployments, CLEAR’s actual US network includes 42 locations.

On that note, CLEAR will also be deployed at Cleveland’s Progressive Field during 2019 All Star Week this summer, offering another option for convenient, expedited entry to baseball fans.
