Princeton Identity has appointed a new VP of Sales and Marketing. Bob McKee is now leading the charge in the biometrics specialist’s promotional efforts.
McKee comes to the company from McKee & Associates Inc., of which he served as President from November of last year; and before that, he was President of Paxton Access Ltd. for several years. But from August of 2008 to May of 2009, McKee served as Samsung Techwin America’s VP of Sales and Marketing for North America, so he possesses some familiarity with the larger corporate infrastructure from which Princeton Identity emerged last summer.
In a statement announcing McKee’s appointment, Princeton Identity asserted that the role will see “lead the charge on expanding Princeton Identity’s product suite, establishing new sales channels, and building U.S. and global partnerships.” McKee will also shape business strategies to “maximize Princeton Identity’s visibility in the physical security market.”
The company has already built a strong profile with the integration of its iris recognition technology into the Samsung Galaxy S8. Iris recognition is also a showcase feature of Samsung’s new Note8 device, and while there haven’t yet been any official announcements regarding the source of its iris scanning technology, if and when Princeton Identity is revealed to be it, that should help to make McKee’s new job a little easier.
