“FPC’s Nomination Committee is also seeking to expand the Board’s membership, putting forward Peter Carlsson, Michael Hallén, Åsa Hedin and Tomas Mikaelsson as its newest members.”
Fingerprint Cards is making some changes to its Board of Directors. Chairman of the Board Urban Fagerstedt has declined re-election, and FPC’s Nomination Committee has put forward Jan Wäreby as his replacement.
In a statement announcing the proposal, Nomination Committee Chairman Dimitrij Titov explained that Jan Wäreby possesses business contacts and international sales and marketing experience that should prove useful in developing FPC’s global strategy; meanwhile, by declining re-election as Chairman of the Board, Urban Fagerstedt will be able to spend more time working on the company’s technological advances.
FPC’s Nomination Committee is also seeking to expand the Board’s membership, putting forward Peter Carlsson, Michael Hallén, Åsa Hedin and Tomas Mikaelsson as its newest members. In so doing, the Nomination Committee suggested that Fingerprint Cards “is entering a new phase, in which it will develop new business areas” and that the revamped Board it envisions “has the breadth and versatility required to maintain and develop the Company’s operations.”
These proposed changes will be discussed at FPC’s Annual General Meeting, which is scheduled to take place May 4th.
