Vicon Industries is bringing a full suite of video and surveillance solutions to this month’s ISC West event. The Cemtrex subsidiary will set up shop at booth #7083 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas where ISC West is set to run from March 23 to 25.
The Vicon portfolio includes the browser-based Valerus Video Management System (VMS), as well as the VAX Access Control solution and a wide array of camera hardware. All of the company’s solutions are designed to be integrated with one another to provide clients with a comprehensive (and consolidated) video and access management solution.
On that front, Vicon’s Roughneck series of cameras are compliant with the latest NDAA standards, and come with robust license plate recognition and event detection capabilities. The edge cameras can send a real-time alert to security staff if they spot anything suspicious (such as a loiterer or an abandoned package), and process footage locally on a given device itself. The Roughneck multi-sensor series, meanwhile, features quad-camera devices that can be configured remotely and offer anywhere from 180 to 360 degree surveillance coverage.
Valerus VMS makes it easier to view and manage all of the footage being captured with the camera network. Time stamps can similarly be matched to access control events through the Vax Access Control platform. Finally, Vicon can enable face-based access control with a new Biometric Access Control Kiosk that will be on display at ISC West.
“Our comprehensive view of information on a centralized platform helps integrators save on costs, and gives end-users a singular place for alarms, making responses faster, more manageable, and easier to report upon,” said Cemtrex Chairman and CEO Saagar Govil. “ISC West brings together every segment of the security industry, and we look forward to showcasing our innovative technology at this year’s event.”
