“…it’s a major opportunity for Umanick to advertise its solutions, such as CMITech’s EF-45 iris scanner, part of Umanick’s Identity for Health platform.”
Healthcare solutions integrator Umanick is preparing to showcase its technology at a major conference—the XII International Congress of Hospitals and Clinics, an event organized by the Colombian Association of Hospitals and Clinics.
In a statement announcing its participation, the company said that the conference is expected to feature 900 participants and “international speakers of the highest level” who will discuss healthcare management issues. Representative from Australia, Brazil, Chile, France, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Sweden will share their expertise on this and related topics.
As such, it’s a major opportunity for Umanick to advertise its solutions, such as CMITech’s EF-45 iris scanner, part of Umanick’s Identity for Health platform. Given the growing appetite in healthcare for the kind of sophisticated biometric technology now on the market, such offerings could garner Umanick considerable attention.
Commenting on the opportunity, Umanick CEO Emilio Gallego highlighted Columbia hospitals’ “high sensitivity for patient safety,” suggesting that Umanick’s solutions should prove appealing.
