Suprema has climbed a few notches on A&S Magazine’s Security 50 rankings.
It’s an annual ranking of the world’s biggest security companies based on market share or product shipments. Suprema has ranked consistently since 2011, and has now jumped from 34th in last year’s rankings to 31st this year.
In a statement announcing the jump, Suprema highlighted its annual revenues, which came in at $52.1 million for 2015. It also emphasized that it’s “the only dedicated biometrics company among the ‘Access Control Product Group'”, and that it ranked 6th in Access Control.
News of the ranking ascension comes soon after last month’s announcement that Suprema won a Detektor International Innovative Achievement Award for its BioEntry W2 biometric access control system, and not long after the launch of its BioMini Slim S fingerprint scanner in October.
