NextgenID Introduces More Accessible IDaaS Payment Option

April 29, 2020

NextgenID is trying to make it easier for government agencies to acquire the company’s various identity and credentialing solutions. To that end, the company has unveiled a new Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) program that creates new payment options for those interested in its ID*Capture Kiosk and its Supervised Remote In-person Proofing (SRIP) platform.

NextgenID Introduces More Accessible IDaaS Payment Option

Instead of forcing organizations to make a large initial purchase, the IDaaS program allows customers to take possession of the ID*Capture Kiosks without any capital outlay. The organization can then pay off the Kiosks over time, a prospect that should theoretically be easier due to the cost savings from the Kiosks themselves. The biometric Kiosks automate the identity screening process to speed up user interactions while simultaneously reducing the staffing requirements for the organization itself.

Customers that opt for a lower upfront cost will be able to pay for the Kiosks over time through identity proofing transactions. The Kiosks themselves can be installed within 30 days.

“Our frictionless model allows us to offer our technology to agencies at a lower cost, in addition to saving them money long-term,” said NextgenID CEO Mohab Murrar. “Customers have the choice of using capital to purchase the equipment upfront, paying completely by transaction, or a hybrid of a lower capital payment with a reduced transaction fee. This flexibility allows government agencies to take advantage of our solutions in an efficient and cost-effective way.”

The ID*Capture Kiosk is able to register the biometrics and personal information needed to issue card credentials to users, while the SRIP platform allows the organization to monitor that process remotely. The latter was released earlier this month to help government organizations keep up with credentialing requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both solutions are fully compliant with the NIST’s SP800-63-3 regulations, in addition to the government’s Identity, Credential, and Access Management policy.
