Paris, March 25, 2013: Morpho (Safran), the leading provider of secure identification solutions, has been awarded a contract by the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen) to produce highly secure driver licenses and digital tachograph cards [1] Sweden began issuing the new driver licenses in January and is set to start issuing the digital tachograph cards later this year.
Sweden’s redesigned driver licenses and digital tachograph cards will integrate Morpho’s latest state-of-the-art security features to comply with new European Union standards and provide enhanced protection against document fraud.
