“The announcement of the integrations further builds upon the remarkable array of Fingerprint Cards integrations announced at the start of the week…”
Two more major Fingerprint Cards mobile integrations have been announced this week. The Huawei Honor V8 and the Xiaomi Mi Max both feature the company’s fingerprint sensors.
The latter confirms last week’s speculation about Xiaomi’s newest, big-screen mobile device, which uses an FPC1035 sensor. Meanwhile, Huawei’s Honor V8 continues a longstanding relationship between the China-based OEM and FPC, with Huawei’s latest device featuring the same FPC1025 sensor model used in the G9 Lite device announced last week.
The announcement of the integrations further builds upon the remarkable array of Fingerprint Cards integrations announced at the start of the week, with four other devices from three different OEMs also featuring FPC sensors. It all underscores FPC’s leading position as a provider of fingerprint sensors to mobile OEMs just as the company expands its range with the announcement of its FPC-BM, a fingerprint module offering a variety of potential applications and which FPC hopes to bring to market in the near term.
