Imprivata Says Hello to MENA Market

January 27, 2017

Imprivata will be showcasing its biometric solutions at next week’s Arab Health conference in Dubai, an event billing itself as the biggest healthcare event in the MENA region.

Imprivata Says Hello to MENA MarketFor Imprivata, it’s an opportunity to introduce itself, with the company being new to the region. In a statement announcing its participation, Imprivata Customer Experience SVP Carina Edwards called it “a key investment for Imprivata that demonstrates our commitment to the local market.”

The company will show off its OneSign SSO solution supporting fingerprint-based login, its ConfirmID EPCS platform, and PatientSecure, its biometric patient identification system based on palm vein scanning. In making the case for this last solution in particular, the company could cite recent data from a recent study it sponsored indicating that patient misidentification is a serious and costly issue in the US.

The Arab Health conference will run from January 30th to February 2nd.
