ImageWare has issued its Q2 results for the fiscal period ended June 30th, 2017.
Revenues were up six percent compared to the same period last year, rising from $1.0 million in Q2 of 2016 to $1.1 million this past quarter. At the same time, ImageWare’s net loss increased from $2.1 million a year ago to $2.5 million in Q2 of 2017.
In a statement announcing the results, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller highlighted the company’s partnerships, pointing to its recent reseller agreements with Fujitsu and Info X Distribution. Miller also highlighted the company’s completion of a biometric authentication project at multiple Alaskan airports, and ImageWare’s inclusion among CIO Applications’ ‘”Top 25 Cyber Security Companies for 2017” listing.
In his comments, Miller did not specifically lay out expectations for the rest of this year, but he did assert that the CIO Applications listing validates ImageWare’s “strong positioning and brand awareness in the marketplace.”
