Next Tuesday is the beginning of IFSEC International 2014. The event, held in London England, will be running from June 17 through 19 and promises to cover a broad range of security solutions.
Among the conference’s 650 exhibitors will be HID Global, the company behind the Lumidigm acquisition reported on earlier this year. Yesterday, HID announced the details of its IFSEC 2014 presence, releasing an event itinerary describing a large number of product demonstrations relating to five different vertical markets.
At booth #D1800, in the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre, HID will be providing hands-on demonstrations of emerging technologies, including the newly acquired multispectral fingerprint imaging technology in its portfolio courtesy of Lumidigm.
The V Series and M Series fingerprint sensor authentication technologies will be featured. In context of the exhibition, these are used in authenticating shared work stations.
In addition to the Lumidigm biometrics, HID will also demonstrate new security innovations that leverage Bluetooth LE and NFC that simplify mobile access.
In terms of the vertical markets it will be highlighting in demonstrations, HID will be showing identity management innovations in education, healthcare, enterprise and financial areas.
Last week, Lumidigm announced that it’s multispectral biometrics will also be featured in demonstrations by Third Millennium at IFSEC 2014 as part of that company’s RX6 biometric reader. The Third Millennium demonstrations will be occurring at booth C1810.
