“It’s an area that is certainly not unfamiliar to MorphoTrust technology, with the company being a major provider of government-issued identity documents, and also bringing its biometric authentication technology to cutting-edge mobile ID projects.”
MorphoTrust has teamed up with Boston-based Confirm Inc. to integrate its biometric authentication technologies into the latter’s commercial document verification and identity solutions.
In a statement announcing the partnership, MorphoTrust highlighted solutions such as 1:1 facial recognition and deep pattern matching technologies as candidates for integration into Confirm’s platform, which uses image capture and AI to confirm identity documents. Commenting on the partnership, Confirm CEO Bob Geiman emphasized the “wide variety of applications for the commercial sector to use technology that requires authenticating government issued IDs,” adding, “With MorphoTrust’s best-in-class technology a key component of our engine, we bring a great deal of trusted value to the commercial market.”
It’s an area that is certainly not unfamiliar to MorphoTrust technology, with the company being a major provider of government-issued identity documents, and also bringing its biometric authentication technology to cutting-edge mobile ID projects. The company’s technology appears to have been a natural fit for Confirm, all the more so given that MorphoTrust CEO Bob Eckel is a member of the latter’s Advisory Board.
The companies will offer their solutions via confirm’s SDKs and APIs, which they say can support a range of applications.
