Market research firm Goode Intelligence is expanding its analyst team with the appointment of Satish Karry as its new Senior Analyst.
Karry’s focus will be on digital security and technology, and he appears to be an individual steeped in the terroir of these areas. He is based in Silicon Valley – San Jose, more specifically – and has held previous positions with Oracle, IBM, and Nok Nok Labs, one of the firms that founded the increasingly influential FIDO Alliance authentication standards group.
In a statement announcing Karry’s addition to the team, Goode Intelligence CEO and Chief Analyst Alan Goode asserted, “Bringing someone with the calibre of Satish on-board means we can cover more areas and also have someone on the ground in the USA – an important market for Goode Intelligence.”
The expansion of the Goode Intelligence team comes amid the issuance of the firm’s predictions for the biometrics industry’s year ahead. Among the highlights are growth in smart car applications, the emergence of biometric payment cards, and the rise of mobile facial recognition systems in the wake of Apple’s popular Face ID system on its iPhone X.
