AGNITIO has been named one of Gartner’s Cool Vendors in Unified Communications, the company has announced. Issued this month, Gartner’s “Cool Vendors in Unified Communications, 2016” report highlights VoIP caller authentication solutions providers targeting the government and enterprise markets.
The recognition is for AGNITIO’s voice ID technology, which uses voice biometrics to enable identification and authentication. It also validates AGNITIO’s success in targeting government and enterprise server-based applications, a focus of the company since it sold its mobile assets to Cirrus Logic late last summer.
And, of course, it validates the company’s technology. In a statement, AGNITIO CEO Emilio Martinez said, “We consider our inclusion in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner as confirmation of the leadership of our best of breed server-based voice ID technology,” adding that the recognition “will be a motivation for the AGNITIO Team to continue on its path to launch a revolutionary new generation of technology in the upcoming year.”
That encouragement is well-founded, given that previous Cool Vendors such as NuData have gone on to attain considerable success since receiving the distinction.
