MorphoTrak (Safran) has won the 2015 North American Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year Award.
In a statement, the growth strategy firm explained that the award was given largely in recognition of MorphoTrak’s MorphoWave Tower, which allows for easy-to-use, contactless fingerprint scanning, capturing four fingerprints with one wave of a user’s hand above the scanner. The MorphoWave Tower itself won a major award last month, having won Access Control Product of the Year at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards; and it was just announced that the product has received PIV certification from the FBI, adding further polish to the brand.
Of course, Frost & Sullivan didn’t select MorphoTrak for this award solely on the basis of one product. Frost & Sullivan also pointed to other major products and services launched by the company in 2015, including MorphoAccess SIGMA Lite and SIGMA Lite+, Morpho Video Investigator, and Morpho Cloud AFIS-as-a-Service. Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Ram Ravi commented that “MorphoTrak has excelled in engineering biometric solutions for applications as diverse as commercial access control, border control, mobile identification, contactless ID for finger, face, and iris, and enterprise cloud services,” adding that the company “is constantly innovating and widening the range of its solution offerings.”
With its diverse range of recent products and this new prestigious accolade from Frost & Sullivan, MorphoTrak could be in for some big successes over the coming year—it’s a nice way to start it off, in any case.
