“…IntelliTrust is essentially designed to turn smartphones into virtual smart cards for use in the enterprise.”
Entrust Datacard has won Frost & Sullivan’s 2018 North American Adaptive Authentication Technology Leadership Award, in recognition of its IntelliTrust authentication service.
First announced in June of last year, IntelliTrust is essentially designed to turn smartphones into virtual smart cards for use in the enterprise. The service leverages soft tokens, biometrics, and device recognition for user authentication, and allows authentication processes to be tailored to individual user profiles.
In a statement announcing its Frost & Sullivan award, Entrust Datacard explained that Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practice Awards “recognize companies in a variety of markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development.” Entrust Datacard VP Ryan Zlockie added that the company is “honored” to have been selected for one of these awards.
The recognition arrives amid this week’s RSA security conference in San Francisco, where Entrust Datacard is on hand to showcase its solutions. The event runs until April 19th.
