Fingerprint Cards has a new head of HR: Mattias Hakeröd has joined the company’s executive team as a new SVP.
Hakeröd comes to the company from a previous position as Global HR Director for Mölnlycke HealthCare. He has also held administrative HR positions with AstraZeneca R&D and Vattenfall.
In a statement announcing Hakeröd’s new post, FPC indicated that he will oversee the company’s “people processes such as skills and leadership development”. For his part, Hakeröd pointed to FPC’s expanding presence as a fingerprint sensor provider, saying, “Given Fingerprint’s exciting position, I’m looking forward to contributing my experience to the company’s continued journey and building on the company’s strong culture and values.”
This is the second major executive appointment for the company in recent months, with FPC announcing that it had promoted R&D SVP Pontus Jägemalm as its new CTO. The moves come after Jörgen Lantto took the helm as CEO toward the end of last summer.
Hakeröd will assume his new position as HR SVP starting September 1st.
