FindBiometrics is starting its 2017 webinar season with a bang, tackling one of the hottest topics in the tech world: Mobile biometrics.
The field has come a long way from Apple’s pioneering introduction of Touch ID. Fingerprint sensors are now common and widespread smartphone features, and are starting to find their way into multi-modal solutions and under the displays of mobile phones. Meanwhile, the need for liveness detection is becoming more important, and new applications in wearables and the IoT are presenting opportunities and security challenges.
The discussion kicks off on Wednesday, March 29th, at 11:00am EDT, and will feature some big names. Moderating the discussion is, of course, FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill, who recently got a first-hand look at the latest cutting-edge mobile technologies at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Joining him are Acuity Market Intelligence Principal Analyst Maxine Most and GSMA Head of Applications and Services David Pollington (who we recently interviewed at MWC 2017), as well as experts from some of the most exciting companies in the business — Precise Biometrics, Aware, Inc., and Nok Nok Labs.
There’s more to discuss than ever, and webinar participants will find the panel more than able to cover it. Registration is free and a recording will be sent to all who sign up, even if they can’t attend the live discussion itself.
