“We’re in the right place at the right time with the right technology, and now we’re building our business development team to match to our incredible dev team.” – Kevin Alan Tussy, CEO, FaceTec
FaceTec has a new business development executive aiming to build up its activities on the west side of the Atlantic: Richard Lobovsky is the company’s new Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Lobovsky comes to the company from Samsung SDSA, where he served as VP of Enterprise Solutions – Financial Services for a little over three and a half years. Before that, he was Verizon Enterprise Solutions’ Director of Internet of Things Business Development and Strategic Planning, and he has also held positions with Strategic Decisions Group, Wireless Knowledge, and Qualcomm, where he co-founded and helped to lead the Lifecomm business line for mobile-driven health services for seniors.

In a statement announcing Lobovsky’s appointment, FaceTec CEO Kevin Alan Tussy framed it with respect to other recent business developments positioning the company for growth. “A few months back, Steve Cook came aboard giving us a strong presence in the UK and Europe, and now we are adding Rich to give us a strong presence on the East Coast of the US,” he explained, adding, “We’re in the right place at the right time with the right technology, and now we’re building our business development team to match to our incredible dev team.”
Tussy’s praise of the FaceTec development team is well earned, with the company having this summer become the first and only firm to attain Level 1 certification in iBeta’s Presentation Attack Detection evaluation. That’s thanks to the performance of ZoOm, the company’s sophisticated 3D facial recognition system, which attained a 100 percent anti-spoofing score in iBeta’s test.
