Iris biometrics specialist EyeLock has found a major new partner. With a new agreement, electronic security cooperative PSA Security Network will offer EyeLock products to its client base.
It’s a big new deal that could bring EyeLock technology to a much larger market. PSA Security Network comprises security integrators through North America, and according to EyeLock the cooperative brings in more than $2 billion annually in security integration projects. Commenting in a statement, EyeLock Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer Anthony Antolino called the partnership “an important part of our global distribution strategy.”
For PSA Security Network’s part, Director of Vendor Management Craig Patterson said his company is “thrilled to be working with EyeLock,” adding that its “solutions are user friendly, interoperable with major access control platforms, and are priced right.” Indeed, the company’s technology has earned some renown: EyeLock’s myris handheld device won accolades at last year’s Consumer Electronics Show, and the company has since demonstrated innovation in the areas of PC biometric authentication and even biometric ATMs. Given its evident expertise in iris biometrics, the company’s technology could prove appealing to PSA Security Networks’ base.
