Today, market leader in iris-based identity authentication solutions EyeLock appointed Darlene Crumbaugh as vice president of financial services, further solidifying the company’s commitment to deployment and expansion into the financial services sector.
Bringing over 20 years of experience with her, and having proven herself as a leader with an impeccable track record of delivering high-impact growth strategy, Crumbaugh’s new role with EyeLock will see her managing the financial services vertical market, which includes sales, deployment, current programs and customer relationships.
Speaking to Crumbaugh’s qualifications, EyeLock’s chief executive officer Jim Demetrius cited her “extremely successful track record in sales,” as well as her long time experience in helping businesses maintain customer relationships while growing their bottoms lines, as qualifications to EyeLock’s collective excitement. Demetrius continued: “We look forward to leveraging Darlene’s expertise to continue to deploy throughout the financial services industry and broaden our customer base.”
EyeLock’s proprietary technology, by way of offering a far reaching suite of authentication solutions, is transforming security in healthcare, border control and homeland security, as well as financial services, which Crumbaugh says is in desperate need of an overhaul. After the recent high profile $45 million theft from a New York ATM, it’s nearly impossible to disagree: pin numbers are simply not secure enough to protect our most sensitive information.
“I believe that EyeLock’s iris-based authentication technology is the solution to many of the issues financial companies face today, including fraud,” said the new vice president of financial sales. “I look forward to joining an organization that is influencing the way our identities are protected. Ultimately, this technology provides enormous value to the financial services sector and helps their customers by reducing the cost of fraud while assuring privacy concerns.”
