Centrify has joined in on the National Cyber Security Alliance’s STOP. THINK. CONNECT. campaign to raise awareness about digital security.
Through its Centrify Identity Platform, the company offers the enterprise sector a multi-factor digital authentication platform. Among the authentication tools used by the company are biometrics and YubiKey USB key devices. Its work, then, clearly aligns well with the NCSA’s campaign, of which advocacy for strong authentication is an important component.
In a statement announcing Centrify’s participation in the program, VP Ben Rice said the company’s team “is pleased to sign on as a partner of STOP. THINK. CONNECT.,” saying the campaign “reinforces the need for additional security measures, like multi-factor authentication, and further raises awareness of several different ways of practicing safe online habits.”
In joining the campaign, Centrify is in good company. The FIDO Alliance has also announced its support for STOP. THINK. CONNECT., and a number of other organizations have thrown their weight behind the “Lock Down Your Login” campaign, a component of the larger STOP. THINK. CONNECT. effort.
