Biometric Signature ID will provide ID verification for online courses aimed at professionals in the mortgage business, the company has announced. The work has been contracted on a three year term.
In a statement announcing the contract, BSI did not name its client, but said that its ID verification would be applied to about 90,000 individuals. The system will use the company’s BioSig-ID software solution, which assesses patterns in how users draw a series of symbols that act as a password.
Commenting on project, BSI CEO Jeff Maynard asserted that his company’s technology “ensures that users who enroll in a course are the same individuals completing the work and makes it near impossible for someone who isn’t the registered user to gain access,” adding that authentication can be completed in seconds.
News of the deal arrives soon after BSI announced an expansion of its leadership team that welcomed (among others) two individuals with strong backgrounds in the online education sector.
