The Avatier Corporation has released an updated version of its Identity Access Management (IAM) solution. The Identity Anywhere Spring Edition is built for enterprise organizations, making it easier for them to manage access privileges for a large number of remote workers.
To that end, Identity Anywhere introduces new Single Sign-on (SSO) capabilities, which means that end users only need to log in once to gain access to all of the materials they need to carry out their jobs. The platform is compatible with more than 5,000 cloud applications and 90 enterprise applications, including popular collaboration platforms like Teams, Outlook, and Slack, in addition to the broader iOS, Android, and Chrome platforms.
The universal user interface, meanwhile, delivers a consistent user experience across all of those platforms. Identity Anywhere can be integrated with an existing HR system, allowing administrators to automate certain tasks while still giving them full manual control of others.
The platform enables passwordless authentication for those using face and fingerprint recognition. It also supports PIN codes and other leading multi-factor solutions for those looking for an alternative to the biometric option.
“Today’s workforce is working remotely, and identity authentication has to follow them wherever they go and however they work,” said Avatier CEO Nelson Cicchitto. “With our Identity Anywhere approach IAM follows the user so they have secure access anywhere to improve productivity without jeopardizing security. We are giving users more secure control so they can work how they choose without adding IT overhead.”
The updated Identity Anywhere solution is being released alongside an updated version of Avatier’s mobile app, which debuted in October and is free for any customers using the Avatier Cloud platform. The app is available for Android and iOS devices, while Avatier itself integrated biometric technology from ImageWare into its Identity Management Suite back in 2016.
