SecuGen is continuing its push for its new bluetooth-enabled fingerprint sensor with plans to showcase the device at this year’s ISC West security conference.
First announced in late 2016, the UN20 Bluetooth fingerprint sensor is part of SecuGen’s Unity BDP line. Sporting FAP 20 FBI certification and NIST MINEX certified algorithm software, it’s based on an open source operating system allowing a high degree of customization. And, of course, it offers Bluetooth support, enabling wireless connectivity with other devices.
The company already showed off the device at the RSA 2017 conference, and is evidently hoping to make an impression on the security-focused attendees of ISC West 2017. In a statement announcing the company’s participation, SecuGen asserted that the UN20 Bluetooth sensor “is intended as an easily embedded fingerprint solution where high quality, rugged design, and affordability are key factors.”
ISC West 2017 will take place in Las Vegas from April 5th to 7th, with SecuGen showcasing from booth #10130.
