KnuVerse has officially launched a new portfolio of cloud-based voice recognition and authentication services. Dubbed Knufactor, the platform arrives alongside a newly announced API kit designed to let developers integrate the technology into their own solutions.
Knufactor has two key components. AudioPass is a speaker authentication system application that periodically prompts subjects to speak three or four words for identity verification. AudioPIN, meanwhile, is an authentication application that lets users create PINs, and prompts them to say words that are dynamically generated and displayed.
As with the rest of KnuVerse’s technology, the key selling point here is the Knufactor solutions’ capability of detecting speech in noisy environments. In a statement announcing the new offerings, KnuVerse General Manager Kate Dilligan asserted that the platform “works if the user is standing in a noisy restaurant, driving in an open car — or even hang gliding.”
Meanwhile, KnuVerse’s API is available to developers for a 60-day free trial allowing 10 user enrollments and a hundred authentications. That could help to stoke interest in Knufactor as companies look for more innovative means of verifying user identities.
