With the recent Money20/20 expo in Las Vegas having further stoked the financial services industry’s excitement over biometric authentication and security, a new webinar is going to help clarify exactly what’s going on as these sectors intersect. Entitled ‘Biometrics Beyond Payments: Multi-Factor Security and the Fight Against Fraud‘, the event will take place on Wednesday, November 30th, at 11:00 am EST.
The webinar will be hosted by FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill, and will start with a market overview from Goode Intelligence Managing Director Alan Goode. The event will then proceed to a panel discussion also featuring Crossmatch Vertical Marketing Director Chris Trytten and HID Global General Manager Paul Butler, and will conclude with an audience Q & A.
Having seen the excitement around biometric FinTech himself at Money20/20, Peter O’Neill is poised to carry that energy forward into this new discussion. A panel discussion on the topic that he hosted at that event drew a sold-out crowd of a thousand people – a “tremendous reception”, O’Neill asserted shortly afterwards. He’s not alone in having observed this excitement, however. Other industry experts like BioConnect’s Bianca Lopes have been expounding on the ascent of biometrics among other security and authentication technologies that financial services organizations increasingly crave.
The Biometrics Beyond Payments is a timely event, then, and should shed some further light on an area of growing interest to the FinTech, financial services, and IT security industries.
