Iris recognition was a strong force in the news for the second week on a row, with stories concerning the Samsung Galaxy Note7 continuing to make headlines. Delta ID’s ActiveIRIS software was approved for use in Aadhaar, Iris ID’s technology received deployment in a time and attendance capacity, and EyeLock launched iris recognition that can scan biometrics through glasses and contact lenses.
