The TSA PreCheck program could see an enrollment boost from expanded hours of operation at the administrating IdentoGO application centers.
TSA PreCheck is, of course, an ambitious collaboration between America’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and MorphTrust USA (Safran) to fast-track passenger screening at airports via biometric identification. Individuals provide their IdentoGO enrollment centers, and after that their scans at airports can be compared against the original biometric data on file, allowing for quick and convenient security screening.
The airport IdentoGO centers enjoying expanded hours include Denver International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, John Wayne Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. At the same time, non-airport application centers in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Alexandria, Glendale, Raleigh, and San Jose will be open longer, too.
It’s part of a broader effort to increase the availability of IdentoGO services to the public, with MorphoTrust having recently expanded the number of enrollment facilities in Texas, pushing into previously underserved areas. The company has also been doing a lot of promotional work, from setting up an enrollment center at the PGA Constellation Senior Players Championship to hosting an enrolment party at its Nashville office, complete with a live band.
