Bodet has brought its biometric workforce management platform to a luxury retirement community in London. Battersea Place is now equipped with Kelio Visio X7 fingerprint-scanning terminals for staff enrollment, time and attendance tracking, and payroll administration.
The Kelio Visio X7 is the predecessor to Bodet’s latest biometric terminal, the Kelio Visio X4, which was announced by the company toward the end of last year. Nevertheless, it’s an award-winning device that can authenticate based not only on fingerprints but also smart cards, and it has evidently proven satisfactory to the administrators at Battersea Place. Commenting in a statement, the commissioning administrator of Lifecare Residences, which manages Battersea Place, said that the use of biometric authentication “ensures we always have real time data of who is on-site, night and day,” and said that the Kelio Visio X7 is “especially useful as it involves staff directly in their own time management, making them feel a valuable part of the organisation and helping improve employee engagement.”
Bodet indicated that at Battersea Place, the system will be used to administrate a staff of 75 across a 24-hour schedule. The deployment arrives after an implementation of Kelio Visio X7 terminals at a UK garden center last autumn, suggesting a wide breadth in the system’s applications.
