Logitech has announced its ‘best webcam ever’, and the device features support for Windows Hello facial recognition.
As its name suggests, the Logitech BRIO 4K offers 4K resolution, allowing users to really take advantage of YouTube’s ultra-high definition support, and arriving just as the technology is starting to get traction in video conferencing. The device also features RightLight 3 with HDR to balance lighting, particularly with respect to dim environments and overexposure.
But the device is also noteworthy for its embrace of infrared imaging compatible with Windows Hello, the biometric security system of the Windows 10 operating system. The BRIO is now part of a growing roster of third party devices enabling biometric authentication via Windows 10, making for a more convenient and secure login experience for users.
The BRIO is available now at an MSRP of $199.
