The integration was first announced late last summer. It enables multi-modal biometric authentication for applications running on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, leveraging fingerprint, facial, and voice recognition. And together with the SAP Fiori user interface, it’s meant to deliver a highly personalized and secure experience for the end user.
In a statement, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller called the kind of biometric single sign-on service offered by the integration “the next generation of authentication,” adding, “We are delighted to join SAP in their booth at Mobile World Congress this year and look forward to showcasing our mobile biometric authentication to all SAP customers and prospects.”
Mobile World Congress will run from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona.
