Global organisations continue to grapple with the cybersecurity challenges, with the convergence of Internet-connected things, there will be newer risks. These challenges are only likely to increase with the existence of less assertive regulatory and legislative agendas, and also the emergence of a new generation of ‘digital natives’ leading to an exponential rise in malicious code activities, Spear Phishing and spam attacks. With dissolving boundaries between real and the digital world cybercrime has become a part of our daily lives. Attacks against Governments, businesses and nations is gaining prominence consistently, making responders numb to the sheer increase of cybercrime. The MENA region faces a disproportionate level of attacks, and suffer more zero day vulnerabilities than elsewhere in the world. This has led to a sharp rise in spending in security technology, but without the necessary supporting investment in improving awareness, governance, and processes.

Enterprises, Authorities and nations across the region are withholding critical post breach information which is a disturbing trend and also preventing us from combatting cybercrime effectively. Nispana Innovative Platforms is proud to announce its niche initiative “Critical Infrastructure Information Protection” scheduled on the 26 & 27 March 2107. This summit focusses on future expected threats and measures, also aims at global collaboration of public, private and academic sectors. This summit will attract over 200 plus CISO’s senior ICT and cyber security officials from the MENA region to discuss, find strategic directions and plans to tackle emerging threats to the global and regional information security sector.
