BIO-key will provide a corporate update on its Q4 and 2015 year-end fiscal results on Wednesday, March 30th, the company has announced. CEO Mike DePasquale and CFO Cecilia Welch will host a conference call at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the results.
In a statement announcing the update, the company offered no details about its performance for these fiscal periods, but there is reason to believe that the fourth quarter of last year was a productive one. The company became Microsoft’s exclusive biometric technology partner and embarked on a 12-city tour with the IT giant in support of the latter’s Windows Hello security apparatus, which brings biometric authentication to the latest Windows operating system. Given Microsoft’s reach in the enterprise and consumer electronics sectors, that partnership may have been fruitful for Bio-key.
And the company has maintained momentum since the tour ended, showcasing its technology at the 2016 HIMSS conference and proselytizing on the benefits of biometric technology at this year’s connect:ID. In its corporate update, BIO-key aims to offer an outlook for 2016, and these promotional efforts are likely to figure into it.
