| Law Enforcement Gets Help from Biometric Security Features on Drivers' Licenses
Viisage Technology has announced its Fault-Tolerant Distributed Production System (FT-DPS) for the drivers' license and secure identification market. The system enables customers to incorporate biometric security features on drivers' licenses/IDs while maintaining all relevant information in replicated databases.
The fault-tolerant features of the offering ensures all systems are continuously operational.
