Can you please provide our readers with a brief background of the company?

ANVIZ

The Shanghai Anan Fingerprint Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1999. Anan was devoted to biometrics research and development. Anan established diversified cooperation with world famous companies like Digital Personal, Identix, and Veridicom. In 2002, Anan was formally renamed to ANVIZ and the office moved into Shanghai King Tech Tower, which signaled the company's enterance into a new development stage. ANVIZ served as a global R&D center for fingerprint application. In 2006, ANVIZ moved to Xinzhuang Industrial Zone in Shanghai. Meanwhile, the new sales and marketing center was built, R&D was further reinforced and the production center was enlarged to meet increasing order from all over the world.

ANVIZ is active in many vertical markets. Can you tell us about your product lineup?

ANVIZ

ANVIZ continues to listen to clients and develops products to meet their diversified requirements. As a result, our R&D staff has gained much useful experience in the development of fingerprint application products. This enables ANVIZ to offer quick response to ODM needs. ANVIZ product lines include fingerprint time & attendance, fingerprint access control, fingerprint safes, fingerprint readers and sensors and core modules.

Overall, how would you rate your company's performance in 2006 and what influenced that performance?

ANVIZ

In 2006, ANVIZ increased sales 200% compared with the previous year. ANVIZ has become a world player by introducing fingerprint products at competitive prices to global clients.

For instance, our elegant fingerprint time attendance and access control system AV200 has been successfully installed in the Presidential Palace in Quito, Ecuador.

Another time attendance model AV100 has been deployed in Baroda Municipal Corporation and Zee TV in India. However, in terms of the market share, we are still far from our goal. Our clients are very confident with ANVIZ and they are pleased to see our development plans for expansion with new products.

What new trends are you seeing in the biometrics industry and how are those trends affecting your business?

ANVIZ

ANVIZ always believes that there is a promising market increase for fingerprint industry. Currently, ANVIZ has a modern factory of 3000 square meters and more than 100 staff. With years of investment in R&D and production center, ANVIZ is ready with the core algorithm, full design and production capability of fingerprint application products.

You are a very global company. Where geographically are you seeing the greatest growth?

ANVIZ

ANVIZ product series have been exported to more than 100 countries. Different regions have different requirements. ANVIZ always tries to customize products for local markets with our strong R&D capability. In terms of the global market, we anticipate good growth in America, Europe, South East Asia and Africa. Of course, there will be considerable growth in some countries on the Pacific.

What would you say are the challenges still facing our industry?

ANVIZ

We feel that the Fingerprint industry is like a young child that still needs people's understanding and acceptance. We believe that fingerprint products will enter the marketplace with the continuous development of the technology and increasing market acceptance. The biggest challenge is whether we have enough confidence and patience to move on. And the answer is absolutely yes!

In terms of new product development, what can we expect to see from ANVIZ in the future?

ANVIZ

We are always listening to clients and will continue to fully support our partners. ANVIZ has signed a 12 month product development contract with a famous and professional domestic design company to further integrate the ANVIZ product line in both product function and market adaptability.

In 2007, ANVIZ plans to release fingerprint time & attendance, professional access control, lock and other security products; in all about 20 new models. The external design, technique and identification performance will be greatly increased. ANVIZ's product line will turn out a new look in year 2007 to meet the continuously growing global market. ANVIZ will accelerate the development with the advantage of industrialized production and strong R&D team with our core technology.
